My friend lost her collie dog of 12 years, she quietly went to sleep on their bed one night. I lost my labrador tragically last November. My niece sent me this ornament. I loved it and so I knew it was the perfect gift to send to my friend. When she opened the package which was a complete surprise she started crying. Yes, she was sad, but the snowflake paw engraved with Penelope brought her so many happy memories of how she loved the snow and going to get the Christmas tree and her picture in front of the tree every year. She thanked me endlessly and said I can't put it away with the Christmas ornaments, I want to keep looking at it, so she put it in her desk.
